Nell at the playground
We've decided that since we're working now and Nell spends all day without us (boo-hoo!), that y.co will spend our time after dinner doing something TOGETHER and OUT of the house! Since its mid-summer its not too hard to come up with ideas of things to do...today we drove down to Drøbak and headed straight for the kiddie park.
Nell had eaten at home before we left so Lars and I grabbed chicken kebabs and took turns eating while the other chased Nell up and down the slide! She had a wonderful time...even got poked in the eye by another kid there. No tears even, what a trooper!
Then we went to a cozy little spot called Hos Hanne where I know they have a dairy free coconut sorbet that Nell's taste-tested before. She I and shared a cup while Lars feasted on carrot cake.
Then we took a walk in the boat harbor and watched the waves splash on the beach...it was nearly impossible to keep Nell awake long enough to get her pj's on and her teeth brushed when we got home. Apparently family play time is the key to a good nights sleep...probably for all 3 of us!
